January 1- Ben & Sarah started dating
August 6- Sarah graduated with her Master's of Natural Resources in Fisheries
September 17- Ben proposed in a hot air balloon
October 29- Ben and Sarah tied the knot in Marietta, GA
November 1- Ben and Sarah submitted their online Peace Corps applications
November 13- Submitted couples questionnaire
November 29- Received application packets in the mail
December 14- Completed interviews at the Atlanta Recruitment Office

2012

January 9- Nominated for Forestry Programs and departure in November 2012
January 17- Received medical packets in mail
February 7- Ben submitted his medical packet
February 20- Sarah submitted her medical packet
February 29- Received a welcome letter from the Placement Office
March 13- Sarah passed legal clearance, Ben needs documentation for car loan

May 16- Ben and Sarah completed dental review, Sarah needs to submit a missing lab test for medical clearance

May 21- Ben needs to complete a current counseling form

May 24- Applied for placement in Mexico
June 7- Ben and Sarah passed medical clearance
July 16- Ben passed the Spanish language requirements
July 23- Received blue invitation packets to Paraguay!

September 25- Staging in Miami
September 27- Arrived in Asuncion, Paraguay
November 21- Received future site assignments
December 7- Swore-In as official Peace Corps Volunteers
December 10- Moved to site: Coronel Bogado

2013

February 14- Held their site presentation
March 1- Moved to independent housing
April 22- Reconnect Training
May 5- Vacationed with Sarah's family in Paraguay
May 30- Participated in Paraguay Verde youth camp
